Jonathan theWho?
Jonathan Davis is a web developer and designer that has been actively programming on computers and internets for over 10 years. Does that mean he knows everything there is to know between 0 and 1? I am not here to confirm or deny that claim. I just know that while he specializes in PHP, Actionscript and Design, if you need
he can definitely help you.

my bio:
Although I have only recently graduated from The University of the Arts, I have been doing web design almost half my life. It began with a job to code and design my high school's website my junior year at the High School of Engineering and Science in Philadelphia. Throughout high school I was really into coding, and I excelled in C++, Java, Pascal, (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript.
I began my collegiate adventures at Drexel University where I had a dual major in Computer Science and Mathematics. During my three years there I had two internships involving web design. I created a website for the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (http://www.hiaspa.org) and a website that was commended, but not executed, for the Printing and Mailing department of Drexel University itself (http://jonathanldavis.com/dupm). Every day I woke up excited to do this work, and I knew that I was meant to do web design as a career.
I began to seek a degree program that would teach me more about interactive and visual design. I found exactly what I was looking for and more in the Multimedia department of The University of the Arts. Through this program, I created projects using real-world scenarios and learned how to incorporate design concepts into every field of media arts. I had the opportunity to collaborate on projects with passionate artists from diverse fields. In all my courses, my work was thoroughly critiqued by professors and peers. I was ingrained with a mentality to focus each project on the needs of the user, and to exercise discretion over extraneousness. I was consistently pushed to improve and never settle for less then excellence. As a result, my design skills developed exponentially.
Both independently and through coursework, I grew to learn PHP, Actionscript 2/3, jQuery, AJAX, SQL and Processing. I love working with Flash, and its symbiotic marriage of code and design. I have created code-intensive projects with the program including both games and websites. I have also created three sites using Drupal, and I am currently using it to develop my portfolio site. I am proud to be a part of this exciting movement in web development, and I envision limitless potential in its flexibility. Due to my background in coding I was able to jump immediately into module development and custom theming, and was amazed to discover how easy it is to hook into Drupal's efficient facilities.
I like talking in person about my work, so please contact me if you have any questions.
